Meet Maggie Shayne!

Hi! I’m Maggie Shayne, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than seventy novels. I’ve worked with some of the top editors in the business at major New York publishers Harlequin, Harper Collins, Penguin Putnam, St. Martin’s Press, and Pocket Books from 1992 to 2014, when I went indie.

Today my passions are shifting, and I’ve decided to share what I’ve learned about the art and craft of storytelling with budding new and up-and-coming authors.

To that end, I am offering a thorough developmental edit of your story that is also a laser-focused masterclass tailored specifically to you.

Every writer has tics—things we do so automatically we don’t even realize we’re doing them. We all have things we do really well, areas where we excel, and we might not be aware of those, either.

I’m going to shine a light on both for you, help you build on your strengths and train yourself around any potential weaknesses.

It’s a developmental read from the perspective of a professional author who’s supported herself on her fiction for thirty years. I not only know what you’re tripping over, I can probably can guess why, and more importantly, help you figure out a smoother path to where you want to end up.

So if you want to develop your story, and more importantly, your voice, drop me a line and let’s set a date.

Don’t just be an author. Be a master storyteller.
